David Howard B.A. Hons, MSc Transport
David is an experienced transport professional with over 14 years experience in the rail sector and a further 4 years working more generally in the transport sector. He has worked for British Rail Network South East and South Eastern, where as Business Analysis Manager he was responsible for all demand and revenue forecasts and pricing strategy. In 1997, David joined Transport Strategies as Principal Consultant where his main tasks involved advising rail companies on revenue and demand issues. In 2001 he formed Line by Line where his main work is with Train Operating Companies and their owning groups, and the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC). He has also worked as an associate consultant with other consultancies.

Kim Howard BSc. Hons
Kim is an experienced administrator and communications professional. As Assistant Manager at Transnet, she was responsible for the administration of the organisation and also undertook several studies in the transport sector, including a major analysis of the (then proposed) Channel Tunnel and associated Rail Link. She has held various administrative and managerial posts within the National Health Service. Before joining Line by Line, she was Trust Board Business Manager for Southampton University Hospitals Trust with responsibility for corporate governance and the integrity of board operations. Since 2003, she has brought her administrative expertise to Line by Line.
